Winner David Pumpa, Runner Up Ian Muir

This final was played between David Pumpa & Ian Muir( Both previous winners ).
David had recently beaten multiple winner Chad Muir 25/24 in a semi final match which many members believe was one of the best games ever played at our club.
Ian won the toss & after 5 ends the score was 4/3 in David’s favour. In the first 15 ends David continued to hold the upper hand & at this juncture led 15/8 . This advantage continued for another 2 ends before like the Ladies Final a momentum swing occurred & Ian then won 8 of the next 9 ends & by end 25 was leading 23/20 & David looked to be in real trouble.
Not to be outdone David then won 3 singles in the next 3 ends & scores were then locked at 23 each.
On end 30 the deadlock was to be broken.
When David was holding 2 shots near the jack Ian tried an upshot with his last bowl but missed the mark which led to David winning 25/23.
